Commonwealth Circus Center is dedicated to bringing people together to learn, self-express, and create through the joy and challenge of circus arts. You can find me there:

  • When: Monday nights (classes run in 2-month sessions)

  • Levels: Partner Acro 101 (beginner) and Partner Acro 201 (intermediate)

  • Format: Weekly classes focused on strength, balance, and connection; mix of technique, drills, spotting, and partner sequences

  • Drop-ins: Available when space allows — recommended to check session availability before attending

  • Schedule note: Times and exact class nights may vary between sessions

  • Registration: Always register through C3 (class platform) prior to attending

Boston Bouldering Project

BBP Thursday Night Teaching Schedule (Boston Bouldering Project)

5:45 PM — Acro Level 1

  • Beginner-friendly, acro-focused class

  • No prerequisites required

  • No partner needed

  • Emphasis on foundations: base/flyer roles, safe spotting, basic holds and transitions, trust and communication

  • Ideal for newcomers or those returning to acro to build strength, balance, and confidence

7:00 PM — Acroyoga Level II

  • Intermediate acro-focused class

  • Prerequisites: comfortable with the ninja bat and experience with basic transitions

  • No partner required — partner matching available in class

  • Focus on refining technique, dynamic transitions, more advanced bases and flyers, flow sequences, and safe coaching cues

  • Appropriate for those ready to progress beyond foundational skills and explore more challenging variations

Registration

  • Register through Boston Bouldering Project or ClassPass (drop-ins accepted)

  • Wear comfortable movement clothing and a willingness to learn and connect with others
